Thursday Associates is the office of teaching architect Philip Bess, professor in the School of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame. Located in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood, and founded in 1986, Thursday Associates is a research and design consulting firm committed to the idea of architecture and urbanism as civic arts; and to a re-thinking of contemporary American architecture and urbanism through writings and projects both academic and professional.
